A UFO and A New Start

It was hot here last week and is supposed to be hotter this week(over 100 degrees every day for at least the next 7), so I have been staying inside as much as possible and stitching as much as possible.

The new start is for another Any Child Love Quilt square.This little beginning is Precious Moments Princess. Both princesses and Precious Moments are very popular quilt choices for the little girls. As a side note, Love Quilts just opened 3 new quilts for sign-ups today. The 3 girls are sisters. Info seen here

Now for the UFO:This will be the Summer scene from Seasonal Scenes. It is not a very exciting shot since it is just the browns of the windowsill, but after stitching on it most of the past week, I should be finished with the brown and move on to the more colorful parts. : ) I had a tiny little start on this when I put it away in 2004!!
