Several Things

First, I would like to share a wonderful gift that I received from Barb. She won my giveaway for the LHN Sampler Tree ornament charts, and sent this to me as a thank you gift. It is so beautifully stitched and finished--I love it!
This was waiting for me at my LNS when I went to Stitch Day there Saturday before last. I am really pleased with how it turned out and the frame I chose.
The chart and fabric for the next LHN Sampler Tree ornament were also waiting for me that day. I left off the date that was charted and added my own touch to replace the date--I'm still deciding if I like it or not.
And, I have made a little progress on His Eye is on the Sparrow.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope that everyone is enjoying a wonderful Spring week!!

I've Been Stitching

Since my last post 2 weeks ago, we have had a couple of days of cold and ice, and a little snow. So, I spent a lot of the time indoors stitching!

First is a little progress on His Eye Is On The Sparrow.

I also had 3 finishes. The first one is the LHN Sampler Tree Ornament, "Oh Christmas Tree". I stitched it on the suggested fabric and used the suggested floss(but, I changed the CC Eggshell floss to WDW Grits, again).

Stitching the next two pieces with their cheerful colors helped brighten the cold, cloudy days and evenings. A Love Quilts square for a 2-year old little girl. Her parents requested inspirational words, hearts, and bright colors.

And, a quilt square for a World of Charity Stitching quilt with the theme of Spring.

A Very Little Progress

Since my last post, I have had a doozy of a cold, and not much stitching has been going on around here. I am feeling better, so hopefully, my next post will have more stitching progress to show. I have stitched a little on His Eye.
I also started the next LHN Sampler Tree ornament and a Love Quilts square. I will show my progress on those next time when a little more has been done on them.

The winning name for the first Sampler Tree ornament and the Classic Colorworks floss has been drawn from the bowl. The chart and floss will be going to Barb! Barb, I will be emailing you shortly for your mailing address.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope everyone is having a great week filled with lots of stitching time!!

Another Finish, A Little Progress, And A Giveaway

I have finished the first Little House Needleworks Sampler Tree ornament--"Old Colonial" .
I stitched it on the called for 32 count Winter Brew Linen from R&R Reproductions, and used the called for Classic Colorworks floss. I did change the Classic Colorworks Eggshell to Weeks Dye Works Grits because I prefer the snow to be more white. I also changed the date that was charted to the year that my husband and I got married.

I would like to pass the chart for this ornament and the CC Eggshell floss on to another stitcher, so if you are interested, please let me know in a comment. If more than one person is interested, I will put the names in a hat(or bowl), and draw a winning name.

And, I made a little progress on His Eye Is On The Sparrow.

Thank you very much for the kind comments on my recent finish of This Is The Day--I really appreciated each comment!

Thank you for visiting, and I hope everyone has a wonderful February!!

It Is Finished

I started stitching this in July, 2012, and have worked on it off and on for two and a half years--and, it is now finished!!
This is the Day by Tracy Riffle of Hands to Work Designs. Stitched on 30ct Apple Brown Bindy linen using Gentle Arts Sampler Threads, Crescent Colors, and Weeks Dye Works floss. I changed most of the floss colors that were called for, and I left off the bottom section of numbers.
