This morning I was updating my photo albums, and I realized that I had not posted here two quilt squares that I stitched the end of last year here. So, here they are.

This one was for a World of Charity Stitching Chicken quilt.

This was for a WOCS By The Sea quilt.

And, this one I stitched last night for a WOCS Geometric quilt(sorry for the worse than usual photo).

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and thank you for visiting!

Two Small Finishes, A WIP, and A New Start

The first finish is for a SAL at Stitcher's Garden. We are stitching the LHN Little Sheep Virtues to be sent to World of Charity Stitching. Our squares will be made into a quilt for a lady at the Senior Care Center.

The second finish is a bookmark for WOCS that will go to a child along with a book later this year.

I spent a little time working on This Is The Day. I finished the grass in the center section and started the border.

I also had a new start--CCN's Frosty Forest. I am stitching it on the called for 32ct Pearl Grey Linen, but I could not get the color of it right in the photo.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend filled with fun and stitching!

Thank you for visiting!!

First Finish For 2014 And Stitching Plans

My first finish for 2014 is a Valentine bookmark for World of Charity Stitching.

My 2014 stitching plans are pretty simple.

Spend more of my free time stitching.

Spend less of my free time wandering around the internet.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to the new year, and are staying warm!

Thank you for visiting!!

I Guess I Had One More Finish In Me

I thought I could close 2013 in my last post, but I just surprised myself! Sunday, I was in the mood to stitch something Christmassy, and started this little piece. I finished stitching it yesterday and actually finished/finished it last night. I, then, promptly hung it on my tree!!
This design is in the leaflet called Holiday Samplings by Plum Pudding Needleart. I stitched it on Tea Monaco and used Crescent Colors floss--Cupid.

End Of The Year

I have been stitching, but not a lot. Here are probably my last finishes for 2013--all for World of Charity Stitching.
A square for an Autumn themed quilt.

A Christmas piece to be made into a Holiday card.

A bookmark for a child.

A bookmark for a man.

I have put some stitches into Red and This is the Day, but I will have to show WIP photos of those another time--lots to do today. : )

Thank you for visiting! And, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Stitching Red

I have a new start--for me!

Red by Mirabilia.(This is not my finished piece!) The color red always grabs my attention, and when I saw this chart--it grabbed my attention.

Now, here is what Red looks like after 1 week of stitching.

Got a ways to go, don't I? Red is being stitched on 32 ct French Lace linen, and I will be using the called for fibers and beads. The first stitches were put in on her on October 24, 2013.

I am also stitching on an Autumn piece for a new quilt theme that just opened at WOCS, and a Christmas design for the November SAL at The Stitcher's Garden. Since my last post, I also put in a few stitches on This is the Day. I am still stitching grass, and will post an update of This is the Day after I get past the grass stitching.
