Here are the last two finishes for April--both for World of Charity Stitching.

I stitched the little robot and attached the piece to a small tote bag that I purchased at Hobby Lobby. The pattern was in the latest issue of Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine. There are several more in the magazine, as well as some free ones on the CS&NW website. I hope to have them all stitched and attached to the little bags by the end of the year, so that they can be delivered to children at Favor House(domestic violence shelter) or Ronald McDonald House.

And, I stitched another Brushstroke Butterfly. For this one, I used DMC Variations 4022--Mediterranean Sea.

Thank you for visiting and Happy Stitching!

First a little business--Most of you know that Google Reader will be no longer in a few months. I have started using Bloglovin to keep up with the blogs that I read. I would like to invite you to follow my blog there by clicking on this link and signing up:Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Now, for the finish....This is for a little girl whose mother requested a quilt for herself and her daughter from Quilts for Older Children/Adults. Both of them have serious health issues, and I hope their quilts bring them some smiles and comfort.

I don't know what I will stitch next, just yet. I usually have quilt squares lined up with due dates and just take them in order. I seem to be caught up, so I am off to check the groups to see what they need stitched.

Thank you for visiting and Happy Stitching!!

This is "Brushstroke Butterfly" that I stitched for WOCS using DMC 437 and DMC Variations 4110.(I see that I should have waited to get a photo until after it was washed and pressed, so please excuse the wrinkles). Everyone stitching the butterfly chooses their own colors--this is going to be a very pretty quilt!

I am so far behind in reading blogs and commenting, but I will be catching up soon(I really will--it is on my mental list to do). : )

Thank you for visiting!!

Three Finishes For World Of Charity Stitching

These 2 pieces will be sent to one of the WOCS finishers who will use them to make eyeglass cases for residents at the senior care center.

And, a bookmark that I stitched to go to a resident at the senior care center.

I think my recent stitching shows that I am ready for Spring!!!

Thank you for visiting and Happy Stitching!

Two For Sisters

My latest two finishes are for two young girls who are sisters--ages 8 and 6. Their quilts are special request quilts at Quilts for Older Children/Adults.

The older little girl requested butterflies for her quilt.
The younger sister requested cute animals.
(not stitched crooked, just scanned crooked) :)

Thank you for visiting, and I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

More Hearts

This past week, I stitched four more hearts to be made into Valentine cards for World of Charity Stitching.
There are four more hearts included with the chart, but I think I have stitched enough hearts for a while.

I also finished this week, the LHN Kitty Cottage Sampler for a quilt at Quilts for Older Children/Adults.
Since the young lady requested her favorite colors be included, I changed the color of the flowers and letters to purples from what was charted.

Next up will be two squares for quilts for two little girls who are sisters. One has requested butterflies, and the other one has requested cute animals.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope everyone has a wonderful week that includes plenty of time spent stitching!!
